Ski Accommodation in Avoriaz

Avoriaz is located in the enormous Portes du Soleil Ski area. Portes du Soleil is spreads across France and Switzerland and consists of twelve fantastic alpine ski resorts. The huge ski area has a wide ranging variety of slopes – catering for everyone from absolute beginners to intermediates and expert skiers alike. Avoriaz is an excellent resort for families, offering good childcare facilities and a no-vehicle policy that ensures the town is always safe and traffic free.

In addition to the fantastic slopes, Avoriaz has around 100km of off-piste terrain. Avoriaz is extremely popular among snowboarders and the resort has a number of purpose built terrain parks, including a beginner’s park.  A massive 300m vertical drop, known as ‘The Wall’, is one of the most challenging black runs in Europe and will prove a challenging test for experienced skiers and riders.

Away from the slopes, Avoriaz has a lively and well established social scene and plenty of apres-ski activities including a cinema, bowling alley, ice-skating and a gym. Take a horse-drawn sleigh ride around the village to really take in the astonishing scenery in Avoriaz.
